Dear Instructors,

Please send out a class email to your respective sections about the following:

  * Case Study 1: The first case study is Monday/Tuesday 11/05 or 11/06 and all students should try to be in the class since it is worth 50 points. Steps 1, 2 and 3 should be done by themselves though they can still get help during the Friday help hours and steps 4 and 5 will be done in class. I have attached the file to help you in class; you must not share it with the students. You must do steps 4 and 5 yourself in class while they follow suit.
  * SharePoint: On W/R will be the first SharePoint class and they have to be in class to understand the concept and follow the assignments correctly. They should no longer come to class with the big tiger MS Office textbook but the smaller SharePoint text for the rest of the semester.
  * Exam 3: Date for the 3rd exam is on 11/12 or 11/13 in the usual classroom and time. It will cover questions from Access and PowerPoint and they can start practicing with post-tests on MyITLab for the exam.
  * MyITLab: After the last assignment which will be due on Sunday 11/04, there will be no new assignments on MyITLab but they can still go back and do the past due assignments. They just need to email you to accept their submissions for each of the pre-test, training, and post-tests before advancing to the other and/or getting grades for each assignment. The last day to finish ALL MyITLab assignments is the last day of class – 12/07.
  * Final exam: Include the final exam date, time and place for your sections. They should check that the date and time don’t conflict with any of their exams. If it does, they must email you ASAP in order to be rescheduled into another section.
  * 60% rule: Scoring below 60% of 280 points (i.e. 168 points) in Text Book Assignments and Case Studies will result in an F in the course. If they do not understand this rule, please tell them to ask you questions.

Kind regards,
