[Caice-csse] NSF 25-523: EPSCoR CORE Collaboration Opportunities

Dear CAICE:

We have been asked to partner with the University of Alabama as co-PI on their EPSCoR CORE submission entitled, "Collaboration for Optimizing Research Ecosystems in Alabama (CORAL)." We'll be submitting a collaborative proposal. I had an opportunity to meet with the other members of the CORAL team on Wednesday and we'll have two additional meetings on Monday and Wednesday of next week.

I'm attaching a copy of the NSF 1-page Project Summary.

If you are interested in working on this project, please let me know as soon as possible.

I'd like to have a quick meeting this Monday morning to brief everyone who is interested and develop a plan for going forward.

A second NSF 25-523: EPSCoR CORE opportunity is currently being worked out with Dr. Virginia Davis. Dr. Davis' team won the Auburn University down-selection process and would like to collaborate with CAICE as well. I'll be meeting with her early next week and will brief you on what was discussed.

Now, concerning the results of the down selection competition for the NSF 25-522: EPSCoR E-RISE, I have not heard anything yet; however, I'm hoping to hear something either today or early next week.
