We are excited to announce the Harnessing Data Science and AI for Collaborative Advances in Production Agriculture Forum, hosted by Auburn University. This event aims to bring together faculty from multiple disciplines to explore how data science and artificial intelligence (AI) can revolutionize agriculture and natural resource management in Alabama.

Key Details:

  *   Date: Monday, April 21, 2025
  *   Time: 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM
  *   Venue: AU Hotel and Conference Center

Forum Objectives:

  1.   Promote research in AI- and data-driven Agriculture and Sustainability.
  2.  Facilitate collaboration between faculty in the College of Agriculture, College of Sciences and Mathematics, College of Engineering, and Extension.
  3.  Provide participants with an opportunity to identify and discuss opportunities and needs to leverage the power of Data Science and AI to advance Production Agriculture and Natural Resources in Alabama.
  4.  Initiate the development of a roadmap for actionable recommendations to the AU Administration and Faculty.
  5.  Increase awareness and knowledge of potential applications and opportunities in Data Science and AI applied to Agriculture.

This forum is organized by a dedicated interdisciplinary working group from across Auburn University, with representation from the College of Agriculture, College of Sciences and Mathematics, College of Engineering, and Extension.

The forum includes keynote sessions, panel discussions, lightning talks, a poster session, and networking opportunities to foster meaningful collaborations.
