Welcome back to classes, everyone!


The votes are in and counted, and there was a tie when it came to meeting times: Mondays at 17:30 and 18:00.  If no one is opposed to starting at 17:30, I'll reserve the usual room (Broun 235) for the club at that time on Mondays for the semester.  Campus is closed next Monday for Martin Luther King, Junior, Day, so January 25th will be the first Monday we can meet; I'll see you in Broun 235 at 17:30 then.


Speaking of upcoming meetings, we need guest speakers!  If you have something of interest to radio amateurs of any and all levels that you'd like to do a presentation on, email me directly (sueanne at auburn.edu) to pick a date.  They're first come, first served!


Meeting dates up for grabs for speakers:

  *   February 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 (leap day!)
  *   March 7, 21, 28
  *   April 4, 11

We'll have a business meeting the 18th of April for elections and such.


Lastly, students (even graduate students!), the deadline for ARRL scholarship applications is tomorrow, January 15th.  Fill out the application here: http://www.arrl.org/scholarship-application.  This is free money for being a college kid interested in radios.
