[K4RY] Minutes from Last Night

One correction: the test session next Monday will be in Broun (room TBD,
hopefully by today) at 7pm, as the building across from the hospital was
all filled up. Sorry for not getting that info out sooner.

I have a couple of antennas in the equipment closet on the roof. They
should be a Cushcraft 2m Yagi and 70cm cross-polarized Yagi. I recall also
having another rotator up there. With a second one, we could have an az-el
satellite antenna setup, and it would be totally awesome. My rotator
controller should still be in the metal desk in the club room, but it's
only good for azimuth. It's also not computer-controlled like the new ones.
I think an awesome project would be making a rotor controller based on an
Arduino. It'd be relatively simple, and would be so much cheaper than
buying a Yaesu equivalent. You could modify an existing rotor controller to
make it automatic, then write a QEX article about it, and get $50 per page!
