[K4RY] FW: Spring O-Days for Quiz Bowl and K4RY

Last semester we weren't able to get enough people to run an AUARC booth. SueAnne, President of the Quiz Bowl team, has offered to let us split a table with them. This will let us get around the rule that we always have to have someone at the booth in order to have a booth since we can share responsibilities with both clubs. We'll need to come up with display or something for the table. SueAnne and I have prepared a poster.

  Beginning of semester Organization Days, aka O-Days, are coming up next week! This is our chance to advertise our club and recruit some new members.  The booth/table has to be manned constantly, so to get more people the quiz bowl team and the amateur radio club will be sharing a table.  Each club will have its own recruitment sign up sheet, flyers, poster, etc., though.

  Our time slot is 9:30 am - 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 15th and Thursday, the 16th; the tables will be in the Student Centre on the second floor, near the Foy Information Desk.  Please email me back with any times that you will be available to man the table.

P.S. Quiz bowl will meet every Monday and Thursday at 5:15 in Haley 2202, just like last semester, starting January 20th.
