[K4RY] K4RY: Smith Mountain Fire Tower Special Events Station N4F

On Saturday 9 November, the Lake Martin ARC is planning on having a special events station, N4F, operating at the Smith Mountain Fire Tower.  I'm sure members from AUARC would be welcome to come out and operate.  


Operation is scheduled from 9 AM to 9 PM.  Operation is expected to be on 40, 20 and possibly 10 meters, primarily SSB.  It's about the highest point in Tallapoosa County and the view is pretty stunning over Lake Martin.  


Food is what you bring because no fires are permitted (forest fire hazard), but there is also a small cafe about 5-8 minutes away.  See the YouTube video at:
