Engineering scholarships available
The American Council of Engineering Companies of Alabama, or ACEC, is sponsoring the ACEC/Alabama Richard A. Groenendyke Scholarship Award Competition for students majoring in engineering who will be juniors, seniors and graduate students in fall 2011. Two scholarships in the amount of $2,000 will be awarded to qualifying applicants. Winners at the state level will be eligible to participate in the national competition for a chance to win additional scholarships. Applications can be downloaded at this link. All applications and materials must be received by the ACEC Alabama office on or before Friday, Jan. 28. Students with questions should go to thislink or contact the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering for additional information.
