> Subject: [Veritas-vx] disk group in disabled state
> Due to the unexpected SAN switch reboot, all the diskgroups went in to
> disabled state. Surprisingly, the filesystems were not unmounted, and the
> database & application were up & running fine on both the clustered nodes.
> The problem is we are unable to take a SAN backup of these database,
> because of the diskgroups is in disabled state.
> The Solution: We can shutdown the database, unmount the filesystems and
> deport & import the diskgroups then start it (or) simply we can go for a
> reboot of the both nodes in the cluster.
> But my question is without deporting/rebooting can we make the diskgroups
> to enabled state.
> Any help greatly appreciated.
