hmm. I've never run into this, personally, but.. another thing you could
try is taking the disks out of the dg and moving them. In recent versions
of VxVM (3.2 and above with a special licening option) you can split
groups of disks out of a dg easily. Prior to that, you could still do it,
but it made some people nervous even though it's mostly harmless.
