[Veritas-vx] Weird VM boot message

After installing latest release of VM (3.5 I think) I get the following
message relatively late in the boot sequence.

vxvm: Volume vol01 for mountpoint /vol01 is not in rootdg disk group;
         Cannot start the volume early

Since best practices has no volumes other that boot disk in rootdg, this is
telling me something I already know and is mostly annoying. There's a Sun
bug report on it, and the Veritas support site has several "valid searches"
which reveal no hits. The valid searches and Sun bug report would seem to
indicate I am not the only one seeing this anomaly. Anyone out there
figured out how to keep this message from showing up.

A little background. I did a fresh install of Solaris 8 (from 2.6), loaded
new VM, built rootdg, and the old dg's, volumes, and file systems all came
back as advertised(I love it when it works). Just this one irritating
series of messages.

TIA
