Hi Guys,
I am using vxvm 4.0 to encapsulate the boot disk. Once after installing the
package and all relevant patches on Solaris 8 I ran vxinstall. This command
prompted me to enter system wide disk group name and I chose "no" for this.
On completion of this command it mounted 2 devices /dev/vx/dmp and
/dev/vx/rdmp as a dmpfs type.
Then I ran vxdiskadm to encapsulate the boot disk. Here it prompts me to
enter the diskgroup name for my boot disk and am not sure what name I
should enter here.
I gone through the docs but still I am not sure how to encapsulate boot
disk under vxvm 4.0. Can anyone guide me how to accomplish this.
Thanks
Regards,
