what does your types.cf entry look like?
main.cf entry?

ls -l of the /opt/VRTSvcs/bin/BounceIt directory?

BounceIt SourceFile ./BounceIt.cf
BounceIt ToleranceLimit 0

I wrote new agents for this and created a resource.
All the agents work except the monitor agent. This
never gets called. I put in a number of debug statements
and see no output. I simplified to the following and still
found no output. I am running this on a Solaris 8 box and
it has 777 as its permissions. Below is the script.

#!	/bin/sh

/usr/bin/echo "BounceIt: test for new monitor script" >> /tmp/FOO
/opt/VRTSvcs/bin/halog -add C "BounceIt: test for new monitor script"
exit 110

When I probe it from the command line the file is not updated
and this is what I get in the log file.
        hares -probe tryIt -sys steel

TAG_E 2003/02/14 11:07:05 VCS:50135:User root fired command:
MSG_RES_PROBE testIt steel from 127.0.0.1
TAG_E 2003/02/14 11:07:05 VCS:10306:Resource testIt (Owner: unknown,
Group: cmtest) is offline on steel (Previous State = OFFLINE)

I recreated this Type, did a hastop/hastart and still the same
problem.
Any ideas? I am running V3.5.

	Charles Minder
