[Veritas-ha] MultiNICA & IPMultiNIC

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't aware of the need for a dedicated
offline interface, but I can live with it. The real need is to be able
to access the database across gigabit from the main machine, as
specified in the docs, and across 10/100 from the failover, because
they won't spring for a new card. The reason that the failover
interface is on a different subnet was to allow maximum bandwidth over
10/100 in a failover scenario. I can lose it if needs be.
When you localise a resource does it appear differently in the main.cf
file or does the hares command effect some different config file? would
it help if I threw the gigabit ip's onto the main corporate subnet,
even although I am using a crossover cable which means that I can never
talk between the gigabit and 10/100 interfaces.
Cheers,
David
