First, a definition of what you're calling a virtual server...

a VMWare host? a Virtual/failover resource on a cluster?

 

if it's a cluster server, how is it configured? sound like it's possible you could be backing up the "non active" node or something when the backup fails.

	Netbackup 5.1 MP6, Windows

	 

	We are backing up virtual servers using the Netbackup agent.  At some times these servers fail with an error code of 57 or 59.  It's hit or miss when the time frame is that the connection is not allowed, but other times it's fine.  Is there any way to get around this or do any of you know any causes to why the connection is refused?
