[Veritas-bu] VSS with Lotus Notes on Windows

Does anyone have any experience in backing up Lotus
Notes Servers (Windows 2003) with VSP, VSS or the
Lotus plugin.  I tried using VSS with Veritas NB 5.0
an it appears to work ok.  Even using VSP in 4.5FP6
seemed to work ok.  Is this "supported" and is there
any reason why this has a downside over just using the
plugin?
