There is no recommendation for buffers size. you will need to test with
different values until you find the ones that gives you best performance.
For windows machine don't go over 64k for size_data_buffers. When you deal
with buffers run some backups, restores and duplications to make sure it's
no going to be a problem.

These are values I've seen and used for SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS,
SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS_RESTORE and NUMBER_DATA_BUFFERS, but the NET_BUFFER_SZ
recommendation is much larger than I have ever seen.
Could someone explain when you can and cannot or should and should not
use 512K/1M.
Is there discussion or recommendation of this (large!) setting anyplace
(besides this post)?
