[Veritas-bu] Firewall port with XP SP2

Hi, Thanks for the response. But I figured it out.

 

NB release is 5.1. I basically I opened up the following ports in
Windows Firewall exception list:

 

BPCD               13782

BPRD               13720

VNETD             13724

VOPIED            13783

 

I then added program BPBKAR32 to the Windows Firewall exception list.

 

Two clients that were failing with 54's are now sending data to the
Master/Media server.

 

Hope this helps any and all the move forward with XP SP2.

	I've just upgraded some XP machines with SP2 and now I'm getting
Status 54 when I try to back up these machines. Can someone point out
what ports need to be opened up in XP's firewall so NetBackup can
communicate and backup their data?
