The 3.4 backups will work with 5.0, but they are not supported via Veritas.
If you have a client backup or restore issue and the client is 3.4, you
would be "on your own" from a support perspective...

  Subject: [Veritas-bu] netbackup question

We are currently running NetBackup 3.4.1 on our Master Server and all
clients

We want to upgrade to NetBackup Version 5 if possible.

We will be upgrading our master server to HP-UX 11i.

We are concerned that our HP-UX 10.20 clients won't backup with Netbackup
version 5.0. Is this the case?

If so, will they backup with Netbackup Version 4.5?

What are most people doing about this?

  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

  Regards,
