[Veritas-bu] Towers of Hanoi type differentials

Hello

I was wondering if there was a way of structuring the incremental backups to
emulate the Towers of Hanoi algorithm described in Evi Nemeth's book "Systems
Administrators Handbook".   The goal of the Towers of Hanoi sequence is to
attempt to have each incremental back up not only what has changed since the
last backup but what has changed since the backup just prior to the last backup
thereby automatically creating redundancy to protect against bad media without
the overhead of tape mirroring.   Of course the Towers of Hanoi algorithm did
not really achieved it's purpose but it came close.
