You can run up to 16 LUN's / host with the patch. I believe that you need
to make a change to a config file as well. This may be where you are running
into a problem. However we have not tried this on Solaris 7, so keep that
in mind.

Subject: A1000 8+ LUNs support in Solaris 7

Hello,

I tried to create more than 8 LUNs on an A1000 Array connected to a
Solaris 7 system. Trying this seems to be a bad idea since the RAID
Controller seems to forget everything: After trying to create the
ninth LUN, the rm6 configuration manager doesn't show any LUNs at all,
the Module Profile doesn't show any information about the controller
(no firmware level, no memory, nothing).

I then received Patch T106925-04 which claims to add support 32 Lun
support (I know it's a test patch) but in my case it doesn't help.

Is there anyone already having success with 8+ Lun configuration on a
Solaris 7 system? For Solaris 2.6 a patch is already available (not a
test version) adding 32 Lun support...

Thanks,
Andreas
