Since you know the FC module on the SBUS card in the server
was not the culprit. Try using the known good FC module and
replace the module on the controller card in the array.
Just take the screws out, slide out the controller, and replace
the FC module there (or if you have two modules, try using
port B module instead)

It does sound like a hardware problem for what it's worth,
and the typical component to go bad is the FC module.
