Question concerning Raid Manager default partition table

My _personal experience_ (this ain't official advice from Sun by any means) is 
that the RM6 luns can be totally reconfigured. Just make sure that you don't 
have a "." in /etc/hostname.* because this makes rm6.1.1 a blind beast - it 
can't see the controller. (I believe this is fixed in rm6.2 though).

As to why the slicing is done that way, I have no idea, but I'd hazard a guess 
at the idea of using the two smaller slices for db redo log partitions.
