Install Solaris w/o booting - possible?

suninstall is in the /sbin directory underneath the whole /export/exec/etc
stuff (the root filesystem part of the CD)

If you do that, be very very careful. There's a whole lot that may not 
work as expected.

Also check out pfinstall. That may be more of what you want. It will install
the packages and stuff. It won't fix the instance files though. That will
be a bit of work.
