Both: SDS and VxVM

This topic actually comes up somewhat regularly. 

The main argument for using SDS for root drives are:
- simplicity - SDS is very simplistic and does this simple operation
quite easily.

against:
- you sacrifice one kind of simplicity for another. If you've already got
VxVM installed, you now have to keep up to date 2 volume management products
on your system and learn two sets of terminology and commands.

It's a personal choice.
