striped and non-striped luns sharing same drives

Hello,
My office has gotten a shipment of A1000s in, using
Raid Manager 6.1.1 Update 1 and Solaris 2.6 (5/99 edition).
I've been asked to try to mix LUNs that are striped with
non-striped LUNs on the same drives. For example:
drives 1,0 2,0 and 1,1 would each have a 1 GB
non-striped LUN at the beginning of the drive, and the
rest of the space on these three drives would be combined
into a single 3-way striped LUN, resulting in a total of
4 LUNs. I do not believe this is supported on the
A1000s using Raid Manager. Can anyone tell me if there's
a way to do this using Raid Manager? I do believe I
could build individual drives into LUNs, and then use
Online DiskSuite to create the configuration requested,
but I wanted to confirm, before using DiskSuite, that
Raid Manager will not do it. I don't like saying "it can't
be done", before asking the experts.
Thanks a lot,
Carol
