get filesystem size back in sync with volume

For VxFS - use fsadm
for UFS - use mkfs -M on a mounted filesystem, or mkfs -G on an unmounted
filesystem. (These flags are undocumented by the way)

Or, you can just shrink the volume back down to its original size.
