moving volumes/disks between systems

Yes, you can only move disks groups (easily).

But... you might be able to do this.  Since you're only taking a few and moving them to a new 
system, there may be a way to do what you want.  It would be a bit too involved to explain in 
this broad mail format, though.

(If there is a spare SSA at your location, it would make things much easier...)  But, there may 
be a way...
