Fibre cable specs?

Hi everybody!
First some background:
We've got two E4000 with two SSA 112's standing on
top of each other. The SSA's are each others mirrors.
Now we've planned to move one computer and disk box to
a server room in another building and have faced a little
problem with the fibre cable specs.
The Sun specs says that the cable used to connect the
SSA's should be multimode with size 50/125 (a cable type
that almost the whole world except Japan stopped using in
the beginning of the 90's). The cable type availble to us
is multimode size 62.5/125. The distance between the computer
rooms is less than 300 metres.
The question: <tada>
Is it possible for us to use the 62.5/125 cable instead
of 50/125 without any problems?
We asked our local Sun dealer and were told (by someone
who apparently just reached out for his binder with specs
and read) that "No, Sun only supports 50/125".
