You should be able to boot from the array. The EEPROM has a default
entry (ssa, socdisk or ssadisk - something like that) that should work.
The only problem we've seen is when you have more than one SSA. Then
things get confusing because the 4000 will boot from the first SSA it
finds (fisrt meaning the first one to respond to a probe, not the
lowest number board slot or SBus slot). In that case you would have to
define the specific boot device is EEPROM commands to be run at boot
time. There is a Sunsolve document or 2 that adresses booting from SSA
for pre-ultra machines, but the concept works for Ultras also. I don't
have the document numbers handy.
