Joe Harman dropped me a note about a guy in Australa (bad URL by the way
Joe) that has a script for moving the stuff back. It involved having
a before and after vxprint output, but perhaps you could add that sort
of information to a data structure...

I like the prohibit thing. We had a couple of chunks that were only
5MB in size.. They took no time to copy (relatively speaking) but were
still a bit of a pain.. ;)
