Dr. Shamsaei,
I had the side print on NAVAIR fittings using Inconel 718 but the design is different. I have the .stl and print files. I have attached a snapshot of the design (see the left figure) that we printed for NAVAIR last year (May-2020).

Any of you remember printing this file? if so, did we have to modify it at all? Can some one check to see if we have kept the print file?

Thanks,

NS

Dear Nima,

I was referred to speak with you by my colleagues Dana and Abhinav, who are currently working with you on other topics. We were recently having a discussion with Nam Phan regarding additive manufacturing demonstration components and understand that you have used PBF to manufacture an apex fitting in 17-4. We are interested in doing a demonstration in Ti-6Al-4V under a current program, and thought that this could be a good component for evaluation. Would it be possible to share the 3D model of this part with QuesTek for our evaluations?

Nam may be able to comment more -

Thank you!
Kind regards,
Tom
