Dear Dr. Shaha,
We are pleased to announce that The First Poster Competition on
Materials Science,organized by the journal Materials, is open for
submission. This online competition will take place from 5 August to 5
September 2020.
Our aim is to allow researchers from all over the world to present and
share their latest research and receive direct feedback from peers,
without costs of travel and related emissions. This event will be free
of charge for all participants.
The topics being covered include:
• Biomaterials and soft materials
• Smart materials
• Advanced nanomaterials and nanotechnology
• Flexible, wearable electronics, textiles, and sensors
• Structural and functional materials
• Materials for energy, storage, and conversion
• Novel electronic and optical materials

All submitted posters will be scored and we will prepare generous prizes
for the winners. The final score is composed of two parts: voting
results from the poster evaluation committee (80% of the total score)
and the number of thumbs up/retweets for each entry by 5 October (20% of
the total score).
