The band segments utilized by FT8 are now loaded with stations communicating worldwide with low power and basic antennas. K4IQJ will discuss the structure and operation of both forms of FT8 and contrast them with several of the other modes. Examples of both FT8 modes of operation will also be presented.<br><br>*FT8 is one of many modes (MS, WSPR, JT65, JT9, FT8, etc.) available in the latest WSJT-X software release.
