<p class="MsoNormal">Field Day 2015 was <b>awesome</b>. The weather was good, the food was great, the band conditions were better than expected, and we had a great turnout!
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">A few people stopped by to ask what we were up to (note to self: get a nice K4RY banner for next year), and we got to share amateur radio with community members and a few students (at least two of whom are interested in getting licensed
now!). Also, we learned a great deal about setting up outside and how to string up antennas in trees (a first for me).<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Special thanks to John Melcher (N8JUC) for loaning us antennas and an antenna tuner and to Gary Pike (KA4KBX) and his family of hams for driving over an hour to come participate and offer their expertise. Field Day was a great reminder
of just how fantastic and supportive the amateur radio community is.<o:p></o:p></p>
