<div style="color: black; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; margin-top: 8px; margin-bottom: 10px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 248);">The Foundation for Amateur Radio (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.farweb.org/" style="color: blue; cursor: pointer;">FAR</a>) is accepting <a target="_blank" href="http://www.farweb.org/2014%20-scholarship-information" style="color: blue; cursor: pointer;">applications</a> from Amateur Radio operators for scholarships for the 2014-2015 school year. The application deadline is April 15. Some scholarships give preference to radio amateurs from California, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.</div>
<div style="color: black; font-size: 16px; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; margin-top: 8px; margin-bottom: 10px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 248);">FAR, a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, manages 52 scholarships worth a total of $72,100. There are no age restrictions for any of the scholarships, and applicants do not have to attend a four-year institution. All applicants must be full-time students.</div>
