<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>Our first *official* meeting is tomorrow evening! I hope everyone can make it. </div><div><br></div><div>Here's the deal with food: catering is expensive...really expensive! The club is willing to subsidize dinner. At $20 to $25 per head, that'd be a lot of subsidizing for even just a few club members to get costs to a reasonable level. Since we don't have dues, we certainly couldn't do that for very long.</div>
<div><br></div><div>For tomorrow's meeting, please buy your own food from the Student Center and bring it to the meeting at 6:30pm. I should remind you that there is to be no outside food in the Student Center other than what you can buy at the Student Center, as far as I know. They seem serious about this, too. Save your receipt, though, and write your name on the back. We may be subsidizing your food purchase in lieu of serving food. We hope to find a way around the expensive catering option at some point, but for now, this will have to be the way we do it.</div>
<div><br></div><div style>The meeting agenda will consist of a short presentation by Chris Hathcock, a radio demo for the new folks, a discussion of a few club projects we have in mind, and a few other management items. </div>
