<div>It was a couple of things, First we took the cover off of the TNC and jumpered the receive audio from 4.5mV to</div>
<div>25mV. That helped hear packets. Then in station set up, we added WIDE2-2. We made sure the TX Delay</div>
<div>was correct (30ms for an Alinco radio which it was already set for that), We installed Afilter so it only overlays</div>
<div>stations within 200 miles (it's adjustable in the Afilter settings) and we just receive levels and checked to make</div>
<div>sure that RF-to-Internet on the IGATE was checked and Internet-to-RF was unchecked (your concern that I</div>
<div>share with you).</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I didn't check the antenna SWR. My Yagi is pointed directly 270 degrees to receive the KE4LTT-2 digipeater</div>
<div>at full scale. I ping K4RY via KE4LTT-2. I heard K4RY beacon once while I was looking at the rig's S-meter.</div>
<div>I got it half-scale considering that I have a Yagi pointed 130 degrees away from it (270 vs. 040).</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>So..the think to do now is just watch it. I came home today and my station has been getting the K4RY</div>
<div>beacon. I just got it again 6 minutes ago. If someone would post what the IGATE traffic log,</div>
<div>that will say how much traffic you are passing to the server.</div>

<div>I don't ever remember seeing a KPC-3+ in Broun 411. I think I had to fix some of the wiring on the current interface cables a while back for workmanship, but it was certainly to a KPC-2, not a -3+.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I would very much doubt that the AHAB effort would have the KPC-3+ that you mention - there would not have been a need. AHAB has been pretty much swimming in KPC-3+'s for the ground stations since most of the airborne units have gone to self-contained
beacons or Tiny-TNCs which are significantly smaller and more power-efficient. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I do seem to remember something changing about the server around that time driven by engineering IT, but I was not involved with it. If Jimmy Hicks is monitoring here, he may remember something about that. Jimmy was club president when I moved here late
summer of 2008, prior to Stephen Ritz moving into that role. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>We all appreciate your help. I guess I have to get my Tiny-TNC car tracker put back in the car. </div>
