<div>AUARC member Josh Smith, KI4PPW, has requested assistance for a part of one day in teaching / mentoring the Boy Scout "Radio" merit badge for interested Boy Scouts.
<div><br>
</div>
<div>The radio merit badge will be one of several offered at the "Merit Badge University" offered on campus on Saturday, 5 March 2011. Auburn University's Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity is sponsoring the overall event. </div>

<div>AUARC's members are ideally suited to explain the intricacies of radio to young people who are interested in this technology. These certainly could be the next wave of ECE's Wireless Engineering program.</div>

</div>
<div>If you have the time and can help Josh on that Saturday, please get in touch with him at: JPS0003@tigermail.auburn.edu. This would be a great way for AUARC members to encourage the next generation of hams at Auburn.</div>
