Storm spotter class to be offered March 6
A Basic SKYWARN Storm Spotter class will be hosted by the Department of Public Safety and Security Thursday, March 6, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Auburn University Public Safety Building, 543 W. Magnolia Ave. Taught by National Weather Service meteorologists, this course will help participants recognize and understand severe weather better so they can help provide critical information to the National Weather Service during severe weather events. The course is open to employees, students and the general public. Space is limited. Register for course EM900 in Fast Train or email ljl0003 at auburn.edu.
