[K4RY] Meeting Reminder

Good evening,

This week we'll be going over the presentation for our guest lecture in Dr. Wentworth's class, which will be held on Monday the 14th.  So far, I've only heard form Derek, Chris, and Kyle regarding presenting; if you're interested, let me know by the meeting this week so we can get you into the "roster" of sorts.

Also, there is a contest coming up later this month.  It's on the afternoon/evening of the twentieth, which is Easter and may be problematic for some members to attend, but we can decide at the meeting if we want to participate as a club.  Other topics of discussion are license upgrade testing and the possibility of summer events.

Lastly, Chris and I built a new desktop computer this weekend to use in the radio room.  The old one, which was used as an APRS digipeter, wasn't really cutting it.  There had been talk of setting up Echolink, as well; we hope to try to get both of these programs up and running on the new machine by the end of the semester.  More on that at the meeting this Wednesday.
