[K4RY] Announcements and tomorrow's meeting

I'll send out another email tomorrow as a reminder but we'll be having a business meeting tomorrow. Hopefully we'll be able to finish early and if the weather isn't bad we'll be able to head up Haley and take a look at the equipment. If you've got anything you'd like to add to the agenda let me know. We'll be meeting in Broun 235 at 6pm.

Speaking of the meeting time, Kyle asked if we'd be okay meeting at 6:30 instead of 6:00 to give people some more time to eat dinner after finishing classes. If enough respond regarding the time then I may adjust our next meeting time, otherwise we'll meet at the regular time and I'll put it on the agenda.

It's not required that you go but it's fun to go out and see other projects people are working on. I checked the list of vendors and displays and it doesn't look like there's any radio clubs out there but you will run into other hams there and you can talk on Georgia Tech's repeater.  I'll email the Georgia Tech radio club and see if we can get a tour of their station or see if they'll have someone monitoring the repeater so we can check in.

Coincidentally, it looks like they'll be offering testing on campus that day, so if you want get your technician license or upgrade while you're in Atlanta it looks like it's definitely a possibility. I'll check with them when I email them.

The Maker Faire is scheduled during the Florida Atlantic game which is also a home game so you won't be able to attend both.
