[K4RY] Alinco DR-110 panel lights replaced

The Alinco DR-110 transceiver for the iGate now lights up fine after replacement of 5 bulbs and adding one resistor to make the power LED brighter.  Don't try this at home unless you have the right tools!   Those receiving this direct will get the picture attachments.  


I've worked on 4 or 5 of these 1980/90 radios to replace the front panel lights, generally with LED's if I could.  The really hard to change main display back-lights are now 18 Volt grain of wheat bulbs which should outlast the radio.  The 12 volt bulbs originally in the display had gotten hot enough to melt themselves into the styrene light diffuser around the LCD.  I had to melt them out to remove them.  


It's coming back to the shack next week.  On to the Heathkit SB301/401 refurbishment.
